Functions:
Responsible for executing a comprehensive sales and trade spend plan at a regional level
Secure growth opportunities, actively solicit and manage fully qualified product development
projects, seek out and qualify new ingredient opportunities
Identify sales strategies and develop existing accounts while seeking new business development
opportunities
Provide detailed information about each customer to management to include expeditures versus
sales forecast, budgeted expenses, business trends and trade spend.  Measure success and failures and formulate specific action plans to address problems and maximize opportunities.
Keeps informed of new producs, services and other general information of interest to customers.

Requerimientos:

Skills:

Fluency English
Fundamental knowledge of business principle's and/or food science is critical
Business experience in the food industry
Good understanding of financial numbers analisis
Good level of understanding the use and application of fuctional ingredients and formula
Highly developed written and verbal communications skills that are clear, concise, and appropriate in timing and directed to appropriate levels.
General understanding of markets, products, processes, competitors, and customers
needed. 
Ability to develop appropriate, business relationships internally and externally and leverage into business, equally comfortable relating to contacts at the lab bench level and the board room level, works independently and is self motivated
Vital skills include negotiation, influencing, communication, strategic thinking, relationship building, and being a team player , must also have integrity, credibility, and trustworthiness.
 
Experience:

Minimum 10 years of Sales experience with a history of increased reponsability and
succes.  Management experience
